❄️ Winter Mod 2025 – Comprehensive Winter Overhaul

The goal of Winter Mod 2025 is to deliver a complete and unified winter atmosphere across all major game modes and locations. Many maps have already been tested, and the mod provides a significant visual enhancement for players.
🌨️ Winterized Maps and Game Modes

The mod transforms the following areas into winter environments:

All Random Battle Maps
Full winter terrain, snow-covered ground, frosted vegetation, icy lighting conditions, and cold-toned skies.

Steel Hunter Maps
Winter textures, frozen terrain and a cold atmosphere, while preserving the original layout and gameplay.

Frontline Maps
Extensive snow coverage, winter-themed urban zones, and clear, cold lighting.
🏠 Winter Garage and Garage Switcher

The mod includes a garage switcher that allows players to swap from the new factory-style garage back to the classic snowy garage.
This feature works independently and is compatible with most garage-related mods.
🔧 Testing Status and Known Deviations

The mod has undergone extensive testing, but a full check of every map is still in progress.
Based on the current status:

Certain outland skin areas may not be fully perfected on a few maps.

Some rocks may still display partial moss textures instead of full winter coverage.

A few original skins have not yet been winterized — these will be updated in future releases.

These minor inconsistencies do not affect gameplay, and the majority of maps already deliver the intended winter atmosphere.

All affected maps include winterized minimaps, visually matching the newly updated environments.

📦 Mod Structure – Two-Part Installation

both parts must be installed,

and both must be placed into the mods folder inside the appropriate version directory.

The mod will only function correctly when both components are installed.

📥 Installation Guide

Extract the downloaded compressed file.

Place the extracted contents into the following directory:
mods / CURRENT_GAME_VERSION /
Example:
mods/2.1.0.0/

The files placed in this folder should be the extracted .wotmod files.

The mod will function correctly only if all required .wotmod files are located in the appropriate version folder inside the mods directory.
