🚀 Key Optimizations
Textures & Memory (-60% VRAM)
Heavy textures have been reworked to significantly reduce VRAM usage while preserving visual clarity.
CPU & LOD (+40% FPS)
Long-distance geometry has been simplified, and all hidden graphical clutter has been removed from map files to improve performance and reduce loading times.
Combat Stability
Completely eliminates frame drops and lag during intense battles and when switching to Sniper Mode.
Shadow Removal
Fully disables dynamic shadows, screen-space shadows (SSShadows), terrain shadows, and SSAO.
Clean Visual Environment
Removes volumetric fog, cloud shadows, God Rays, Bloom, Film Grain, and Depth of Field (DOF).
Visual Effects Optimization
Disables complex particle interactions with the camera and terrain, reducing CPU load during explosions and smoke effects.
Static Water & Environment
Water physics are frozen by removing wave animation and transparency. Metallic foliage reflections and mud/snow accumulation on vehicles are also disabled.
Installation
Open Wargaming Game Center (WGC) → Game Settings → Show in Folder.
Extract the contents of the archive (ByForMOD.tar and ByForMODinstall.bat) into the game’s root directory (the folder containing WorldOfTanks.exe).
Run ByForMODinstall.bat. The installer will automatically detect your game version and extract the required files.
Wait until the console finishes. When SUCCESS appears, press any key to exit.
Uninstalling the Mod
Run uninstall.bat from the game’s root directory. It will automatically remove all mod files and clean up the installation.
